One year ago the world fell in love with Prince George — and on July 22, the royal baby will celebrate his first birthday! While we are still swooning over the cutest prince we’ve ever known, we can’t take our eyes off of his beautiful mother in the official family portraits. Sure, we know the celebration is all about Prince George, but it’s hard to rival the beauty of the Duchess of Cambridge! Kate’s floral frock was the perfect outfit to wear while accompanying Prince William and their baby boy at the ‘Sensational Butterfly’ exhibit on July 2, 2014 — and in true Kate fashion it wasn’t the first time she rocked her $717 frock.
The royal recycler is at it again! Kate donned a silk tea-length dress for a family portrait in honor of Prince George’s first birthday. She’s practical and stylish, and we can’t get enough of her look! Though Kate was the one sporting the emerald hue, she had us all green with envy! The duchess looked flawless in the 1930s inspired frock that featured cap sleeves and gathering under the bust. The SUZANNAH “Budding Heart Silk Tea Dress” flowed slightly past her knee and was speckled with a white blossom print.
Look familiar? Kate also wore the dress just a few months ago as she stepped off of a flight to New Zealand on April 12, 2014, while on the Royal Tour. In Australia, she paired the frock with a green peacoat and black pumps. She clearly loves the color, and it looks lovely on her… but then again, what doesn’t?
Sometimes a dress is too great to wear just once! We love Kate’s outfit-repeating ways, and we look forward to seeing more in the future.
Take it from Kate and don’t be afraid to rock your favorite pieces time and time again! VOTE and let us know what you think of the royal recycler’s look!
