In an interview with Threads Magazine, the “Project Runway: All Stars” judge was asked if George Clooney’s wife could be considered as NYC’s latest fashion icon, given that the 37-year-old has been spotted strutting in high-fashion clothes that many found chic and stylish. “No, I don’t think so. Absolutely not,” he answered, as quoted by New York Post. “Good-looking, but that’s where it ends.”
Artist Mark Boomershine also had something to say about Clooney’s wife as he dished details to Threads about his upcoming exhibit “Revealed: Faces of Our Time” at the Surrey hotel. The exhibit will be featuring 10 iconic portraits of A-list celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Christy Turlington. Boomersine shared that Amal was one of the stars he rejected, saying, “She’s absolutely beautiful and everything, but there wasn’t as much there for me as some of the other people.”
Meanwhile, Mirror reported that 53-year-old George and Amal are officially eligible for the “Sunday Times Rich List” after they tied the knot last year. With a joint wealth of £121 million including a £10 million mansion in Sonning, Berks, the couple has joined the ranks of Britain’s richest, placing themselves at number 790 out of the 1,000 wealthiest people in Britain and Ireland. Other celebrity couples who made the list include David and Victoria Beckham, and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
